We collect the minimum we need to run this site and respond to inbound. We do not sell data, profile visitors, or run cross-site advertising trackers. This page explains what we do collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
1. What we collect
- Site analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Aggregated counts only (pageviews, referrer, country, device class).
- Inbound inquiries. When you book a call via Google Calendar or email hello@finecore.dev, we receive your name, email, and whatever you write in the message. Stored in our CRM and email systems for the duration of the sales conversation and resulting engagement.
- Client engagement data. During paid engagements we may process data you explicitly provide for the project (documents, system credentials, anonymized records). Scope, retention, and deletion are defined in the MSA and SOW for that engagement.
2. What we don't collect
- No advertising cookies, no ad pixels, no remarketing tags.
- No fingerprinting, session replay, or behavioral profiling.
- No data sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
3. Why we collect it
Site analytics tell us which content is useful. Inbound data lets us reply, scope work, and contract. Engagement data is processed only to deliver the work you hired us for.
4. Where data lives
Site infrastructure is hosted on Vercel (US). Inbound and CRM systems are US-based SaaS (Google Workspace and our CRM provider). Client engagement data, by default, is deployed customer-side: it stays in your cloud account unless you explicitly export it.
5. How long we keep it
- Site analytics: aggregated, no expiration.
- Inbound emails and CRM records: retained for the duration of the relationship plus 24 months, then deleted unless legal hold applies.
- Client engagement data: per the SOW; default is deletion on engagement close.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. We will respond within 30 days. Email hello@finecore.dev with the subject "Privacy request."
If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR (UK GDPR for UK residents). If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We honor those rights for all visitors regardless of location.
7. Children
This site and our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Updates
Material changes to this policy will be noted at the top with a new "Last updated" date. Substantive changes affecting active client engagements will be communicated by email.
